Such as in what situation we should be using <a href=\"http:\/\/lingo-apps.com\/which-one-should-you-use-good-or-well\/\">\u201cgood\u201d or \u201cwell\u201d<\/a>, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/lingo-apps.com\/the-difference-between-complete-and-finished\/\">complete\u201d or \u201cfinish\u201d<\/a>. Today we will be discussing on \u201cuntil\u201d vs \u201ctill\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Until<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntil\u201d is a preposition with the meaning of up to the point or time mentioned.<\/p>\n<p>When we are saying \u201cuntil the lecture ends\u201d, we are mentioning the period between now to the time the lecture ends.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Till<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the sharp contrast, \u201cTill\u201d has lots of meanings. It can be either a noun or a verb. But as we are discussing the usage of \u201cuntil\u201d vs \u201ctill\u201d, we will only focus on its use as a shortened form of until.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Till&#8221; is much older than \u201cuntil\u201d in terms of etymology. But! There is actually not much difference comparing with \u201cuntil\u201d. It just perceived as a less formal version of \u201cuntil\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Summary<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All in all, using \u201cuntil\u201d or \u201ctill\u201d is not the question.
