It is <em>the process<\/em> of inhaling (breathe in) and exhaling (breathe out). With an additional \u201ce\u201d at the end of \u201c<em>breathe<\/em>\u201d, it is a verb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">On the contrary, there is no extra \u201ce\u201d in both \u201cnoun\u201d and \u201c<em>breath<\/em>\u201d.
